New Security Idenitifcation Display Areas (SIDA)

In a continuing effort to protect the airline industry and the traveling public against terrorist attacks, the Transportation Security Administration has ordered that Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA) be established on airports where cargo is being handled and loaded on aircraft. To comply with this regulation the airport, in conjunction with the TSA, has established  three new SIDA areas  where  FedEx (B),  UPS  and Western Air Express  operate.

Access to these areas is restricted to SIDA badge holders. Warnings have been painted on the ground to stay clear of the areas unless you are properly badged. If you enter one of these SIDA areas you can expect to be challenged and issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) if you do not have a valid SIDA badge.

We realize these new restrictions will create an inconvenience for some General Aviation operators but ask for your cooperation in staying clear of these new restricted areas.
