Not as thrilling as a roller coaster but more exciting than
dissecting a frog, BOI tours offer an educational based tour of the
airport terminal building and an insider's edge on the future of
aviation, its role in the growth of the Treasure Valley, and a
close look at the career fields associated with aviation.
Tours are offered weekdays by appointment only. Tours
usually take 1 hour and will cover most of what you see as a
passenger. However, we explain such things as: what those 3 letters
on your bag tag mean, where you can fly non-stop, and why you take
your shoes off at security (we'll leave that to the TSA to
answer). Unfortunately, we can not provide tours of aircraft
or in other secure areas. The Transportation Security
Administration (TSA), a tour partner, will give a
demonstration as we go through the security checkpoint process.
If your class (at least 2nd grade) of 15 or more students would like to learn more about Boise Airport and the aviation industry, please contact us, 208-383-3110, or complete this Tour Request and return it to Boise Airport*, at least two weeks in advance but no more than 90 days.
Ok, now for some boring but important information:
Thank you again for your interest in Boise Airport. We look forward to your visit.
